R.Range is the name of an extensive shooting range in Roeselare that provides all training opportunities for police and security services.

Currently, services can use a shooting range at 25 meters. The range is equipped with a soft sports floor. Shooting can be done from various positions. The lighting can be adjusted to offer various scenarios and training. The shooting range meets all environmental and health standards. An operating file is available to demonstrate to the occupational health services that the shooting range meets all safety conditions.

In mid-2025, a training facility unique in Flanders will be completed, consisting of an additional firing range at 100 meters as well as an additional firing range at 25 meters. This shooting range is unique in the provinces of West and East Flanders. There is a secured entrance gate so that it will be possible to drive vehicles inside the shooting range. This will allow optimal training for approaching or intercepting vehicles.

The increased length of the shooting stand will be able to be used optimally for more dynamic training. It will be possible to practice movement with (long) weapons and to shoot from various positions at longer distances, for example with the new collective support weapons SCAR. Likewise, it will also be possible to practice precision shooting at longer distances up to 100 meters.
